before i left to Vegas this wknd i lost my keys
and cant find them does anibody knw how much this is going to cost me ? or is there ani other place i can go where it would be sorta cheap .. ?

 

if you have a key to copy, I had one made at my local ace hardware for ~$70 total - blank/labor/programing.. I had already bought a blank off ebay for $10 and the dealer said they would copy it for $55, but I had to leave my car for a few hours and I wasnt able to

if you dont have a key at all now I am afraid you are going to have to go to the dealer and pay them an arm + a leg

 

If its the key to your ignition it has to be programmed to your car, or the car will not start You can call the dealer and give them your vin# and they can make you a copy. Or you could try and call a lock smith and they can make a cheap copy but I'm not sure if they can programme the key or not. Some cars they can. If its the door key you would need a spare to copy or the vin for the dealership to make a copy, or call a lock smith that key they can make with out the original.

 

Also if you try to start the car without the key being programmed for your car the car will go into theft protect mode and the dealer will have to reprogramme the car.

 

cheapest way is to order a blank online and have a local locksmith program it.
