Lightbulb VDC off/Slip problem

Hi!
"Slip" and "VDC off" light came on today and not going away, speedometer died too and AC is going crazy. Also feels like it starts shifting pretty roughly.
When that happened i stopped by some mechanic and guy checked it for me, it has 3 errors (don't remember numbers), something about vds, abs and something about communication... I know, should've write down, was too upset at the moment. ((
So i search through some older threads here, found similar problems but didn't found solution.
ABS light didn't come on neither did 'Check Engine" though. There is also some water under battery.
My best guess is water got into ipdm unit, could the rough shifting have something to do with ipdm? If so - what's my best choice? Take ipdm and dry it out? Or go straight to mechanic?
Is is safe to drive with symptoms? (I need to take my wife to the doctor 2moro morning)
Thanks you.

PS. It's 2003 g35 sedan, 120k miles.

well its not the problem I was going to guess when they stay on after doing donuts even after you have stopped sliding and turning VDC back on. That is an easy fix just turn the car off and then back on.

My best advice for you would be to have AutoZone check the codes for you, but write them down this time.

sounds to me like a vehicle speed sensor or one of the abs sensors (not sure if they do double duty on these cars). If your CEL is on, hit up autozone and have them scan it. they can also give you print offs of what the codes mean. If you find out, post the codes up!

if you check engine is on and you have little to no idea on how to read codes, take your car to a shop.

check the fuse for your abs. mine went out and caused vdc, abs, brake, and cel light to go on oh and speedometer to stop

update)
So apparently ipdm got wet i cleaned and dried it (there was like inch of water under the battery.)) Speedo is working, slip and vdc light went off, "check engine" light still on. I checked codes though - p1212, u1000, u1001. My best bet is - harness problem...
I already schedule appointment with my mechanic for the next week.
So did anybody have these codes before?
PS. Car is driving great though.
