Arrow HR headers worth it?

Hey guys,

I did a search but didn't see much about if running HR headers were worth it on our cars? I just bought an HR y pipe and a Coupe midpipe. I know if I buy the headers I need HR cats or HR HFCs. Just wanted everyones opinion about the headers!

Thanks,
Allan

are you ready to pay for labor to install your HR headers. I'm talkin labor costs that will probably cost more than your HR headers, HR y pipe, and coupe mid pipe, combined.

No one has done it before because it sucks to install.

If you want to do it go for it.

I have never heard about the motor, but I hear that the steering rack is in the way, and thats about all I know.

I dont think you have to drop the motor, although that would make it 10x easier im sure. I have always heard that they are really a pain in the @ss to install on your own, and youll end up paying more in labor than the headers are worth if you get a shop to do it.

so in most ppls opinion its not worth getting them and installing on your own or getting installed? if its not worth it might as well put the money into something else for the car. just wondering

Shorty headers have never really improved much for the work to install.

That's what I'm gathering also. I guess Hydrazine has the right idea though. His test pipes that merge into one with the option of going though a single cat.

I guess some longtubes into a single cat might work. If you can get the dual 02s to play nice nice.
