2003.0 shafted again

So another reason to never buy a 2003.0 sedan.

The MAF is different than all other G35s.

Our cars come equipped with the one of the left, all other Gs and Zs come with the one of the right.

**** this car.

Yeah that sux that they are different, makes replacing it tough. Isn't this the reason why there are two versions of the Fujita intake to accomodate the different shaped MAFs.

I guess so, I have to ship my pipe back to Marty so it can be redone.

I've never once heard of this issue, but 90% of all the intakes out there reuse the OEM MAF.

Can you not use the one on the right? is the connector different?

The guys on the maxima forums used to gut their old one and rewire to use the ones on G35s. I think you can do the same; your MAF P/N seems to ring a maxima bell.

Yea because it made better throttle response for them.

But I'm not buying a $300 MAF sensor to fit a $180 intake.

Marty is already taking care of it for me because he's sick like that, but make it know to anyone in the future....

It's less likely to blow out than the 03.5 MAF. For a while guys with intakes were going through the old style MAFs pretty fast.
