I need some help!

So My G has been having trouble starting these past couple of days and the service maintenance soon light or something like that came on and the lights VDC off and SLIP came on. There's maybe like a good 3 second delay then the car starts. I feel the engine is the same it feels like the rpms are going crazy. I thought it was my starter or alternator so i took it to my mechanic and gave me a paper saving " Camshaft Position Sensor, A Bank 2" any help by any chance guys? My car is hitting the 100000 soon! 05 g35 sedan rwd.

My best guess, since no one else is answering you;
I think the sensor might be loose/ not adjusted to the correct positiion.
If not loose it could be faulty.
I doubt your cam shaft has changed.

I am not a G35 guru, yet.
But I think I read that the G35 has a cam chain. It is less probable that a chain would skip teeth faster than a timing belt.
So I would speculate that there is a sensor problem.
