No nothing deployed on this tank. I seriously feel it saved my son and my life from serious injury.
Not one window was broke other than the front glass was poked and spider cracked in a softball size due to the corner of the hood pushing through. Pretty amazing for sure.

Went and test drove some today. I think I like the feel of the 05-06 better than 07 and up to be honest. Sure the interior is nicer on the newer ones but the feeling just isn't there. That's what I fell in love with is the way it felt to drive and the new one while very nice just didn't have that soul that I'm looking for. Found a few prospects 06 x's so I'm going to work on the dealers now.

Do not get a 6mt manual vehicle from 2005-2006 Sedan or 2005-2007 coupe 6mt as that will have the dreaded "NISSAN'S RED HEADED STEP CHILD AWARD WINNING OIL BURNING MOTOR". The interior has been upgraded from 2003-2004 and the brakes were upgraded on 2005 sedan and 2006 G35x Sedan. If you go for the X model than go for 2006. If you are doing RDW than 2005 but try to get something with powertrain warranty still left on there due to leaking valve covers, oil cooler seals and other common issues. Also keep yourself open to looking at 2007 model if the price is right along with condition. You need to keep in mind when you resell the car the 2007 model will still be popular with new buyers as it is the newer body style with the upgraded motor and should depreciate less in percentage.

yeah, but as a frequent shopper of used cars, I tend to stay away from first year model cars, so the 05/06 is your best bet. if you wanted the newer model (which it looks like you do not want), then avoid the 07.

Sorry to hear but at least your ok. I'd go with at least an 07 as a replacement.

I know how it feels to roll a Nissan made car. The safety features of these cars is amazing. It sucks, but you and your son live, which is the best part. Good luck on your search for a new G.

If you need an Autocheck report on any of the vehicles you are considering shoot me a PM.

Damn ... Glad you are safe. Take you time and heal up. Take your time to get another G.

I have a feeling that these G's are made tough .. although the pictures look bad, they could have been worse.

Take it easy.

Wow, from what I can see, the cabin did an outstanding job not changing shape too much and withstanding the crash. Major props to Infiniti for this.

Glad you and your son are ok. Not everyone gets this lucky. :\

Wow man, glad you and your son are safe and sound! I gotta say, if you're looking for an X model this time, try to find an '06 as it has the better brakes, and most likely will have the built-in Bluetooth and Smartkey. Love my '06x!
