totalled my 05 G sedan today :(

I'll post pictures tomorrow but already on the lookout for a new G. I walked away with a bump on my head and a bruised knee. Rolled the car, it looks pretty bad. I loved my G like I've never loved a car before. It just felt right. The question I have is do I buy a 07 G or stick with 05-06? Any and all opinions are very much appreciated.

We hadn't had rain for a month in OH and then it rained this morning. The road was pretty slick and my tires were needing replaced (which I was replacing next week) and came around the corner a little to fast and the back end came out from behind me, I over corrected and spun around and went in the ditch and flipped my car. My son (four years old) was in the backseat. Thank god Blade and I walked away with major hits. He got out and said dad that was cool. I said you have no idea how not cool that was. Very blessed to be okay. My g inside withstand all and kept us safe. Strange thing that I noticed is that the airbags didn't deploy.

^ Glad you are safe!

Airbags just dont deploy because you crash, there is a computer that takes speed, G forces, orientation, seat sensors, Crash sensors..ect to determine if the airbags go off or not.

If the airbag would of gone off it could of caused more damage then good.

If you car rolled and it is totaled. Please get some rest and get your self and your son checked at a hospital / chiropractor. The pain and soreness that comes the next day is brutal and other conditions could progress down the road. I am very happy to know you and your son made it out safely and able to type up this post. I have a 15 month old boi and makes me feel better about my purchase of the G35 as a family cruiser. If you do not mind asking me where was your son's seat. In the middle or on the passenger side/driver side. Also what car seat / booster did you use for him. Lastly how much tread did you have left in 32nd if you recall.

thanks

damn i'm sorry. happened to me about a year ago, but glad you and blade (awesome name, btw) are okay. maybe its for the best that the airbags didn't go off... i got struck on the side and my airbag went off, and not only did it shock me into swerving into a wall but it caused some damage to my fingers (nothing really really bad, just some chipped bone)

i'd say get an HR. this is coming from someone who has had 2 DEs and feels inadequate around newer Gs

Its also great his kid thought it was like a ride, so he wont be scared of cars or traumatized at all hopefully.
