44PSI is a lot....most I do is 35psi....maybe you over inflated & that's why it's goin off? Try 35PSI & drive around for a bit & see if it goes off if not them take it to the dealership to get reset.

^ I agree. 44psi is too much. 35psi is just right.
Tpms might have gone out is another possibility.

Prolly a TPMS issue rather than a true pressure issue.

+1

Does the light come on right away or after driving a bit? Mine comes on after about 50 miles, but thats because I dont have the sensors anymore.

Do you have a full size spare? If so, did you check the pressure in it?

alll my tires were around 35 psi and the (!) was still on, so i filled them up to about 40 because all of my tires say 44 psi and the light still stayed on...

Thats the MAX pressure not the normal operational pressure. Check your door jam for the proper air pressure (cold). For example my door jam says 30psi for my sedan, but the tires say a MAX of 50psi.
Set your tires to what your door jam says when they are cold. Does the light come on instantly or does it come on after driving a while? Does the light go off after a little driving (if it come on instantly). Do you have stock wheels with the original TPMS or have you changed them out?

If the light blinks it indicates a problem with a sensor or within the system, if it is simply on it dictates that the system is not satisfied with one or more of the pressures. As the others have stated fill your tires to what the door jam says not what the tire says. The max pressure on the tires is what you can inflate to without risk of rupture. Also the light isn't going to turn off instantly, you'll need to drive a few miles first. 32-35psi is the most common and safest pressure.

Per the FSM, if the light comes on with an audible alarm, it indicates tire pressure is low. If the light comes on with NO audible alarm, its most likely a problem with the TPMS itself (communication error between the senders and the receiver, bad sensor, etc).

you have to drive around (1-2~ miles) for them to turn off (unless sensors' broken)
