Pretty much gotta get a new transmission on my 03 g35 sedan automatic having 5th gear problem. I got a good deal on a 04 transmission with low miles, my question is would it be a problem installing an 04 transmission on a 03?

 

Well, I do not think the hardware will be an issue but you might need a reflash on the computer module that controls the transmission. Though that is just my guess. Just out of curiosity how many miles were on your 03 transmission before it went out?

 

I got it at 103k drove it until 106k and started getting problems.
