so there's a cd jammed in the stock headunit but there's no error code. does that mean there is still hope just by taking out the headunit and removing the disc manually? or would I have to replace the headunit?

also, all it says is cd eject and it doesn't do anything. i've only started the car up twice since that happened and it only made the whining noise once.

 

i know it's a common problem on the 03-04 coupes and I also tried hitting the side of it after pushing eject but to of no success. was wondering if anyone else have had this problem on the 05-06 sedans?

Does the CD half have power? There is a ribbon cable which connects the CD to the radio.
If no, pull the unit, clean and reinstall the ribbon cables which are inside.

 

yes the cd half has power. there was aslo a strong burning smell when my cds got jammed
