Proper launch technique

Whenever I launch very aggressively in my G, I get a bit of wheel hop in the back. Is this a symptom of too much throttle, starting out at too high an RPM, suspension, or or something else?

I have a 6MT sedan with no LSD.

Curious to see how other 6MT owners respond.

I have an '04 6MT with VLSD, and experience no wheel hop when launching - it either hooks up and goes without much fuss (a little wheelspin and fishtailing notwithstanding), or if I'm on it too hard, it goes up in smoke, but no wheel hop at all. My $0.02.

Hmm, maybe it is LSD related. I'm pretty sure that it's my right side rear wheel which starts bouncing. I'm not surprised, the left side definitely has more traction with me sitting in the driver's seat
