how is your G aging?

So recently I realized that my G35x is 6 years old and no longer new.. LoL! Though my car is holding up well at 137k miles and is a 2005.. I have noticed that my front seats are tearing near the power switches and my headlights don't wanna hold up to well even with my attentive care, how are your cars holding up to normal G drivers (year and mileage)

my G is holding up pretty well. i have an 03 sedan with 144k miles. there's the minor wear and tear, meaning the weather stripping, some fading, etc. but otherwise, mechanically speaking, the car runs great. i have to do some mechanical things in the next couple months including the diff, brakes, probably rotors, etc., but nothing HUGE. here's to another 150k

My 05 G35X has 75K miles on it and looks like it is brand new. Just gotta keep up with the routine maintenance, washes, and interior cleanings.

Ive had my 05 x for over a year now i hav about 82 k on it , i havent had any crazy problems out of it , the most maintenancce work ive done is change cabin filter and oil change !! Have you had any issues with the drive train at all . And are there any things in particular that you would be super pro active in monitoring on the car?

My '04X has 99,000 miles and is holding up very well. Aside from replacing the Rear main seal no major problems yet. I inherited a slightly cracked bumper from the previous owner but no cosmetics problems other than that. Just has a bad case of the swirls (OB). For a 7 year old car it is very impressive.

04 6mt, she turns 85k this week :'(. Igot her last feb with 57k. Been holding up pretty good many WI to GA drives and only really two major issues: torn and leaking rack (i belive this was my fault, cheapo jack stand failed) and ac compressor went. Other than that shes a beast. Now the wifey wants one!

it was $1000 total at a local shop. Out of warranty as it was just this January. I can do most stuff (oil changes, brake pads, etc...) but that one I left to the pros. They replaced the oil pan gasket at the same time also so it was kinda a "two-fer"

My early 03 that was sold in September 02 is holding up quite well. The car has 94K miles now. The Willow interior looks nearly flawless with no tears, fading, staining, or major wrinkles in the leather. No scratches on the titanium/aluminum trim. The paint is in excellent shape as well, but that's largely due to me caring for it with clay bar and polishing and waxing with a buffer. Mechanically, the car has been flawless. Two days ago the Bose/climate control did flake out, but a solid whack to the console quickly fixed the problem

Mine just turned 125K. A month and a half with me.
The previous owner took great care of the interior and the exterior is nice with zero dents and only sand blasting from interstate driving on the front.

I did all the PM on it when I bought it. Dropped about 1000.00 into fixing everything that was broken or questionable.
Now the car is perfect and should get me to 200,000 miles.
Then I will decide to keep it longer or buy another with fewer miles.

I just drove it to Birmingham and back which is a 400 mile roand trip on Monday,
and the car was not problem to sit in for an extended amount of time.

I really like my G35.

My '06 coupe has 48k miles, and the paint is still fresh as ****. Except for my trademark dings and dents... and scrapes... and... .___. fml Whatever! I've had fun with it and these are it's scars. It just shows it's a badass!

Oh yeah, I also just realized I clicked on the wrong forum section. xd

Well, I dunno how to answer this one?

Vie had tp put some money into simple DIY repairs lately, and still need a few more to do.

My car has 85K and it's sad the stuff I've had to replace already. Third brake light, one rear caliper, two front wheel bearings and hubs and now my pass window motor is crapping out.

ive never had a car need so much so soon, but fortunately I'm a DIy person and they are simple repairs. I'm staying on top of repairs and maintainence and the car still looks new...so I guess I'm doing ok.
