2004 vs. 2005 sedans

I'm will be looking at 2004 sedan later today for purchase. What are the mechanical/specs differences between a 2004 and 2005 6MT? PROS and CONS? I assume the oil consumption issue is a potential problem in both?

Thanks in advance.

And I apologize if this info is available elsewhere on this site. Please just re-direct me then.

I did a quick search and didn't find a recent thread that was directly on topic. There were some old ones about the new/upcoming '05s.

I'm looking for a daily driver that I can take to the track once in a while. Does an '04 not have a LSD?

Yep, definitely getting a 6MT. Does the Sport give me VLSD? How do I tell a Sport from non-Sport?

Not all 04 sports had the nismo kit though. Look on the metal badge in the engine bay (left side i believe) and it will have an 'S' for sport.
