Benefits of the Coupe seat swap?
I curious about doing a coupe seat swap in my 06x and have been reading through the old posts about it. What are the biggest benefits of this mod? I have read that the seat hugs the body a little better and the seat sits a little lower which can help those of us that are a little taller.
One thing I am really wondering is I have noticed that in my car it seems the padding next to the controls on the right side of the seat is a little thin and can get uncomfortable after long periods of time with my leg resting against it. Does the coupe seat help with this at all? I would be looking at just the drivers seat, and leaving the passenger seat the stock sedan seat.
From what I have read if I don't get a seat with all the same features (memory, heated seats, etc) there can be some rewiring that will need to be done, but I can't find a wiring diagram for an 06 or newer.
Input would be greatly appreciated!

I just had my coupe seats installed a couple of weeks ago. I would not go back to my stock sedan seats. The coupe seats are wayyyyy sportier and more comfortable to me, but it is all a personal preference. I have an 05 sedan, and the coupe seats came from an 04.
As for the wiring, it is hit or miss. Some people are lucky and have the seats just plug right in, mine did not. It is really not a big deal to re wire them. I had a local guy do it for me in like an hour. Im pretty sure the airbag and seatbelt harness are plug in play on all of them.

The main benefit is just that they hug the body better. They're more true bucket seats than the sedan ones. Comfort is personal preference.
Sometimes I think about switching to the coupe seats also.... Would help keep me in my seats on sharp turns
