Welcome to Driver! Questions on purchasing 03~06 6MT have been brought up a few times before, do a search in sedan section you should be able to find them. Here's the answer I gave in a similar thread:

OP, here are the major issues I had with my 03.5 6MT:
- bad synchros in tranny causing grinding when shifting into 2nd~6th gear
- valve cover oil pooling issue
- compression rod bushing issue

And if you get the car you might need these services soon:
- clutch and flywheel replacement
- spark plugs
- compression rod/lower control arm bushings
- shocks and struts
- wheel hubs and bearings

Get the VIN# and check the service history from Infiniti before you make your decision.

Good deal for 6MT sedan? Need advice from the G35 driver GURUS!

Good luck!
