A hole unplugged......Pics inside

Hey folks.

I was cleaning out my trunk and noticed an excess amount of leaves and dust around my spare and so as I removed it to clean this mess I came across this hole under spare tire.

Do you guys have it unplugged also?

Anyone know if this is supposed to be like that?

Thanks in advance.

Lmao at the scared comment. If there are leaves coming in, I'd say its not suppose to be open

Normally, if there is a hole in your rear end, you don't want to plug it up; but in this case a butt plug is probably a good idea.

It is a drain hole. All cars have this. It usually has a rubber plug. Go to home depot and get a replacement.

you can buy from china-direct.com ( i think ) they come in different sizes. you can decide which plug you will need for your rear.

Your joking but I had a mouse push that drain in and crawl up into my trunk then under my back seats and die.. I had this weird smell in my car for a month and tried everything to get rid of it including sprays through my vents etc.. After one day coming home from work I was so pissed and ready to get rid of my car I just starting taking my car apart.. dash, front seats trunk . I noticed that plug was off and it was open then I took out the back seats and there staring at me was a f^king mouse. I couldnt believe it and felt pretty much violated.. I poked it and it was dead then I took it out and threw away the bottom part of my back seat..

So yeah .. make sure it is plugged unless you need to drain water.

Thanks I didn't realize that rodents and what not would be able to get inside the car through there.

Will do so asap.

With winters approaching i think the mice and what not will try and find a warm place to hide so i better get on it.

Thanks again.

There's lots of sizes available and does anyone know which one fits a g35?

You might just be able to go to the dealer or junk yard and pick this up.. I would try the junk yard... plenty of nissans to choose from... and it would probably cost like 50 cents.
