2006 G35 6MT - Front Brake Rotors

Hey all,

So I need new rotors and pads for the front; my car only has 34k miles on it so I've never had to replace them before I'm looking for a set of slotted rotors (Brembo/Stoptech) - and I've looked at a few vendors such as HPF and such. They all have applications for 05-06 Sedan (Minus Sport Package). Well - I believe that since my car is a 6MT it has the sports package and I can't find any aftermarket rotors for this thing.

Anyone else encountered this?

Cheers,

Jeremy

Sport package cars have the same brakes as base models.

I went with DBA rotors on my coupe, which has the same brakes as your sedan.

DBA rotors are the bomb, but r1concepts sells good products for a great price. I believe they use centric blanks, but not absolutely positive about that. I've run both on my sedan with no complaints.

Thanks for the reply guys; it looks like at least on the 2006 models that the rotors on the sedan 6MT appear to be different than on the coupe (according to the local Infiniti parts department anyway - he said they changed mid-year or some such jazz and he needed the entire VIN to be sure).

The old part number for the rotors for my VIN was 40206-EG000; which was replaced with part D0206-ZA500. The new part number appears to also be the same rotor used on lot of Nissan's including the 2008 350Z. Should make it much easier to find them! I'll check out the DBA's and R1 - again thanks for the speedy replies.

Wohoo; got some DBA2308S rotors (Part Numbers: DBA2308SR / DBA2308SL) and some Hawk HPS pads (Part Number: HB387F.547). I hope they fit!

The rotor specs (http://www.dba.com.au/products/dba2308sr) say they are 12.6"x1.1" - which matches the brake specs that I can find on vlane (http://vlane.com/specifications/2006...specifications) so I'll cross my fingers.
