Push button start anyone?

Just wondering if any member have push button start added to their car either from aftermarket or rigged from another Nissan with push start. I thinking it'd be great to find one that could easily be swapped into my 05 and it look oem.

It would not be easy to retrofit the OEM system.

There are aftermarket systems, but they are expensive and you would still need to put the key in, turn it to ON, and then hit button. At that point, just turn the key another 1/16 turn.

Yea I'd want the button to actually function without use of the key. Just get in and go. Oh well. Just a thought....for now.

Well, the OEM 05/06 system is not technically push button. You have a **** that you turn, but you don't need to insert a key. So to put in an OEM system would require a lot of special parts.

Aftermarket systems are pricey and I've only seen them installed on older cars with much less complex security/ignition systems

I saw a thread where a member actually pulled it off, he had to sacrifice a key that sat in the ignition permanently. Search for it, I'm sure you could find it.
