hey guys, i just had my first drag racing experience! on mybest run, I smoked an eclipse and ran a 9.571 for the 1/8th mile. is that pretty good guys? my wheels kept spinning though, so i know i coulda done better. launching is super hard!

Your 1/4 mile ET is approximately 1.55 times your 1/8 mile ET.

So you ran an estimated 14.83 on 1/4 mile at ~500' above sea level.

LACR is around 2600' altitude, and running there during the summer the best i can get in my sedan is 15.1

Last week I ran a 14.807 with my 5AT at LACR. You have a 6MT right? So you can look forward to some improvement as you get used to launching and pick up some tricks. Let me know the next time you head out to Irwindale.. not as fun at as 1/4 mile, but a heck of a lot closer.

How many runs did you get in and what were the locals like at irwindale? Do they have a trophy/break out class?

Thanks for the info Ted, i only got 3 runs and it was my first time, so im sure i can do better. They have a competition, but i didnt watch and im not sure how it works exactly. ill let u know if I go again anytime soon.
