In pain...My leg...
Wow, as i sit down and start doing my exam today on a hard plastic chair. My right thigh is in serious pain. I start to notice this problem after long time driving in my 03 sedan. And now when i put a little bit of pressure on it and it hurts inside. The pain is at the middle of the mussle, and I believe is my sedan that is causing the problem. I remeber seeing few post about this issue, but im not sure what to do. Will nissan Infiniti fix up on this one as well? Or im just gonna keep suffering from this lovely car of mine. I seriously love this car, and after all...love hurts and i'll never fall in love again.

i always take out my wallet because its impossible to have it in the pocket while driving. And im not fat 180cm/78Kg...Is there a 4th way which i can just take the seat control outta there...or something like that? Maybe i will tell them about it when i go back to the dealer for the shifting of the seats.

I didn't buy a G35 sedan because of the seats. They were very uncomfortable to me. It wasn't anything about the seat controls. It was the lack of leg support so far back from my knee. I don't slump down or anything either. I'm 5'7" and 155 lbs.
It pissed me off, because that is THE ONLY thing about the car that kept me from buying one. I spend at least 1.5 hours a day in my car. That only factors in roundtrip driving time to my office. So, it was a big factor to me.
I talked to a fellow car lover in the office about it. He is a human factors engineering guy. Ergonomics is what I call it. Anyway... he said that his wife had my exact problem with the seats in one of her past vehicles. They ended up getting rid of the vehicle. He was given a G35 sedan to drive while he had his older Infinity in for service, I30 maybe. They both loved the G35 though. They're going to a dealership today to get the ball rolling on buying one. They'll probably test drive it for a day or two. I drove one for two days, but couldn't get over the seats.

Yes, there is a TSB. I think it includes adding more padding to the right bolster. This may or may not help. Maybe even make it worse. Others have actually modified the seat. These are the things that some have done. Raise the height of the center of the seat by sitting on a pad or adding padding from inside of the seat. Lower the seat controls. Some have cut the brackets and lowered the position of the seat controls. Some have done both. On the very extreme, some have remove the seat controls and mounted them somewhere else. Search uncomfortable drivers seat or something like that. There is a huge thread. Good luck.

Subrobo: I know what you are going through and it has nothing to do with your size or weight. It is the brackets holding the power seat controls to the frame of your car seat that are irritating your lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. I have removed my car seat 4 times each time bending the brackets farther out until I finally cut them off completely and tapped the seat frame itself to accept the screws that hold the power seat controls. This resulted in lowering the controls about 2 inches but they still remain in the native location and clear the center console. The right thigh pain did abate after about 2 weeks. Credit MarkG35 for starting the thread about the painful seats and also for the pictures he took of his modifications. Good Luck.
