I was just quoted $25 per qt. for automatic transmission fluid (matic s) at the local Annapolis MD dealer.

I don't mind paying a little more than I have to, but $25 per qt. when I can get it for $9 is just criminal.

Agreed, I went to my local Nissan dealer this past Friday to pick up some Matic-S and they quoted me $12 / qt. I asked them if they could do any better on the price and I was told very gruffly that it was the price, I'm not gonna find it cheaper anywhere else. I asked if they price matched, and was told that I wouldn't find it cheaper so they dont bother price matching. I did a quick search on my phone, showed the guy that I could get it for $7 and walked out the door. F U Buddy!

I would have paid $12 maybe even $15, but $25 and some change no way.

I've bought quarts on eBay for $6/quart. Add in shipping and it came out tp about $7-8 a bottle for me.

I went to a dealership to get a new gas cap.

Parts guy: "We don't have the cap, but we can get it. It'll take about a week."

Me: "Umm... alright. How much is it?"

"The gas cap?"

"Yes (WTF ELSE WOULD I BE ASKING ABOUT?"

"$33.99 before tax"

(poker face)

(trollface)

Nah, I'll fix this one for $2 instead.

Dealerships can suck a duck.

You can't see it on ended auctions, but it was an auction where you pick your QTY

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Genui...item3a6b0df62f

So $4.95/quart, select your QTY and then shipping gets added on.

ATF fluid too expensive

Dealers are in a for profit business, i do service too but those dealers have to pay those salespeople and provide exotic coffee when u visit. I don't ever go to them. I would use synthetic aftermarket atf it is fully compatable with Nissan J type atf. Dexron doesn't have the complete additive package that the G35 needs. You can top it off with dexron but not service it with it.
