2005 Clear Corners

Hey guys, just a quick question. Will the 2003 clear corners fit on the 2005's? I'm sure they do but just wanted to make sure. Also, have any of you noticed when you installed your clear corners you can tend to push them in abit, they're not as solid as the OEM ones that were originally in there? Is that something with the metal clip or..?

Thanks!

There should be no difference.
The clear markers are OEM.
They are just JDM product.

There was no difference in mine at all.
Could be a bad clip I guess.

Yeah sorry I know they're still "OEM" but even when I tried putting in my amber ones they seemed abit loose as well. Maybe I bent the clip a little when pulling them out? Should i just bend the metal clip and possibly give it the tight fit it needs?

Thanks for your reply inTgr8r.

Is it actually loose once it's in, or just easy to insert?

If I remember it's just a clip on one end.
Not sure if it will bend easilly or not but I guess you could try.
Be carefull not to pop it out of the plastic though

It is not loose to the extent where it falls out it's just that when it's in and you push it or pull it, you can move it about a cm. It is not stuck in place like when originally put in. I guess it must be the metal clip so I'll try bending it a little next time.

You might be on the right track mark986, the metal clip may be the problem.
I too have a "loose" clear corner, ive just been to lazy to look into why its loose.

If I find anything, ill post it here.

Good luck

Sounds good G35papa. Cause I remember just popping the corners out to put them in so maybe it bent the clips a bit. Is pulling them out a bad method? Should I use a screw driver or something to push the clip in and then pull?

The normal way is to just pop them out.
The manual shows a screw driver being used as a lever to pry it out.
No manipulation of the clip is required.

I just pushed mine out with my thumb at the edge, no screw driver.

Just thought, when installing did you get the opposite end seated first?

Yeah I slid the other end in and just pushed it in. It stays in, it's just not solid just a tiny bit loose. Nothing some glue couldn't fix . Haha Jk. I'd prefer not to use to glue.
