My first post. Just ordered a '05 sedan 6MT. Lakeshore Slate/Stone with the premium package, nav system, and full aero kit. Got it in Scottsdale, AZ for $1300 under MSRP. Is that a good deal? Just wondering.

 

You will be happy. It is a good deal if you are happy with it. For an 05 it sounds pretty good.

I ordered a 05 g35x black/black with moonroof and trunk mat. I am in NY, paid $2,657 under MSRP or if you look at it the other way, I paid $100 bucks over invoice.

 

I have been waiting for my '05 Sedan 6MT since last summer. The dealer clued me in on the increase in power for the 05 vs 04 when I was about to purchase from another dealer. Once I agreed to wait for the '05 model, they made me an offer of $1000 over invoice. At the time, I would have gotten $500 over invoice with 1.9% financing for an '04. I hate the higher interest rate, but I know the improvements in the interior and higher HP will be worth the wait.

Once the cars are on the lot or can be allocated, the dealer should come down in price - closer to actual invoice.

 

Well after some mix-ups, we got our new G35 Sedan:

The Intellikey is INCREDIBLY cool! *Pure fun factor (The Valet people trip out)

The ride is smooth and quiet! This car gets up and boogies on command.

The Mp3 capability of the 6 disc changer is so nice.(I have 2 CD's with about 150 songs on each of them, and I'm working on burning 4 more! ENDLESS MUSIC)

The restyling on the back tailights, the front bumper, the side skirts look SOO much better than the 03 and 04 IMO. I love it.

we bought if for my wife, but it's great to drive!

Thanks for the info. Went back to the dealer and cancelled the original order. Went to Pinnacle Infiniti in Scottsdale, AZ and dealt with the fleet/internet sales people. Placed the order for the exact same sedan at $500 over invoice. Not quite the deal you got, but better than before.
