Radio/Climate Cotrol issue...PLZ help cus I don't get it
I am still about to open it up, but I have a 2003 G35 sedan with the all famous radio ac controls problem.
I am searching and searching for last two days on the forums, and all I want to know is this:
There is a circuit board that fails that controls both the HU and the Climate controls.
Now if I buy just the climate controls, where does that hook up to?
Let's just say I don't want a radio, I just want the DD Kit with the AC controls! Now that the stock HU and the stock board is removed, where does this new AC control plug in?
I hope you understand my question, because I am a little confused: if you have the stock HU the AC controls are in the same board as the HU, but if you buy a DD kit with the AC controls, then where does the AC controls plug in!?
Thanks!

I ordered and installed the replacment audio finisher board from Infiniti, only to have the problem persist. I pulled the stereo head unit and sent it into these guys:

Upon return, re-assembled everthing and it's been working fine since. I read a million posts and theories about the issue, but I can attest that it is your stereo, although i suppose it can't hurt to install the "new" finisher board to prevent recurrence. BTW, there is a ribbon cable connecting the finisher board to the Bose unit, if that's what you were asking.
