Engine Torque Damper Kit or Transgo shift kit???

I got a 03 sedan with z tube pop charger, test pipes, coupe middy, magnaflow muff.
i wanna get either a damper kit or a shift kit i was wondering if anyone has one or the other and what they think about it?

You will see better results from the Transgo kit but it is costly.

You're choosing between a mod that costs $100 and a mod that costs $800-1200 (after parts/fluid/labor)

as re-crue13 said, get yourself a motordyne iso-thermal plenum spacer. It'll run you around $380-400 installed depending on what shop you take it to.

I installed mine:
1.5 hours
Flat head screwdriver
10 mm socket
Socket wrench
Torque wrench
Locktite
Allen keys
and a bit of river dancing with the pedals

Definitely get a Motordyne spacer before you think about getting the mods you listed.

Don't bother with the engine torque damper. It is very minimal difference.

If you don't have a plenum spacer, that should be the #1 mod that you do.

The shift kit is awesome. I highly recommend it.

Thanks guys, i can defiantly install it myself i do everything to the car. i guess i'll go with the spacer haha.

can you really see that much of a difference from a plenum spacer though?

Yes you can feel a difference on the butt dyno and the gains are proven.

While the TransGo might be a little more fun, it also
Costs quite a bit more. I wouldn't try installing a TransGo unless you're very experienced with wrenching and have some experience with transmissions.

^^That's great advice. I've done almost all of my mods myself and I wouldn't touch the tranny and valvebody.

well i'll give it shot thanks guys. Since alll of your cars are so ****ing awesome, what would you think would look better. Either a billet grille or a mesh grill. If i do the brillet i'm gonna paint it black thats the only way id get that. I kinda into the racing look. i'm only 19 not rich at all haha this is what i'm workin with now.

Honestly I wouldn't do either grill. You don't have to be rich to make your car look good and I honestly like what you have done so far. A set of inexpensive springs to lower your car a bit and a repaint of your lower sides and F/R bumper lower areas would dramatically alter the appearance of your car for the better and wouldn't cost an arm and a leg, maybe $500 if you shopped around. If that sounds like a lot, just start saving and do it in stages, I'd get the springs first. The grill flows well with your wheels and a billet or mesh grill would just look cheap IMHO.

thats funny you say that i just put 350z s techs on it. There on, in that pic just not fully settle yet. its lower now my rear wheels are tucked.
