New Here...New G35x Sedan

Just bought my G35x last week. Had a customer at work with the same ride and recommended this site. Glad to be a part of it.

Heres my new baby. All stock at the moment but I plan on doing a few things soon.

Anyone know where I could buy black emblems for the trunk and grill?

Looks nice!

As for the emblems you can just paint them.

Welcome and enjoy! How many miles do you have on the car? Maybe its due for maintenance...

Actually, the "Service Engine Soon" light just came on. Thinking that it probably needs an oil change? Since this is my first Infiniti, can you tell me if this light is equivalent to the dreaded "Check Engine" light in most other makes?

SES light is the same thing as a Check Engine Light. Probably won't go away after an oil change..

Went to get my oil changed and they read the code. It was my gas cap. Thank god. But they did find a leak in the transfer case. Have to get a new transfer switch too. I found a great mechanic that specializes in Nissans/Infiniti's and he said he would do it in one day for 350.

Said my car was beautiful though, other than the leak.

Just paint it yourself. It's cheap and it's rewarding to see that you did it yourself.

I would love to do it myself. It worries me that I wouldnt be able to put them back in the right spots. I thought of outlining the bottom of the letters in something I can erase and that wont affect the paint.

After you remove the letters there will be some resedue left anyways do you'll know where to put it back anyways. (I just removed mine and I left the logo alone)
