DAMN!! Chicago roads
Went down town to the club and of course there doing road work
So im trying to avoid all the man holes cause they took some of the road down to repave it. So here im dodging man holes. Then a cab cuts me off I swerved to avoid getting hit and BAM! I hit the biggest manhole on that road. It felt like I ripped everything off the bottom of my car. When I finally leave the club and driving home I hear all kinds of noises and every time I turn the wheel I can feel a pop. I get up today to look at the damage!! YOU guessed it I bent part of the frame on driver side

I was on Ohio. Yes I will be getting in touch with the city to see if they will pay for damage. Got to take pics tomorrow. I'm thinking of taking pics of passenger side and then driver side. So everyone can see difference.

I wouldnt even have a whip if I lived in the CHI.
I used to go and stay with my cousin in Wrigleyville a couple times a year. He live right above the Jimmy Johns. Cant remember the street name though.
But yea would hate to have to drive in that city.

i never take my car clubbing. low car + alcohol = not good. add in traffic leaving at 3am plus all the drunks and street park/ valet. Its extremely not good.
take a picture of what you say is broken. i dont think its as bad as you make it sound. Ive hit my oil pan a couple of times going over them and only minimal damage was done. Mainly plastic stuff broken.
Your word "frame" isn't working for me. I figure at worst you bent a control arm/ tie rod/ compression rod but a picture will tell everything.

[/ATTACH] Ok guys here are some pics> You can see that the plastic cover is creased do to the fact that channel crossing under engine (frame) is now pushed towards the back. That causing my steering to be really tight because the universal joint for steering is sitting on that channel or As I call it the frame. Its also where the lower control arm is connected to. It sits in side of it with the bolt going through it. The frame also is bent into control arm. I hope you guys get what I'm saying. The car sits a lot lower then pics. I have it on jacks

That sucks bro! The roads in our state have got to be the worst in the country....no surpirse I guess, with the jags that run it. And I laugh every time I see a BUMP sign....bcuz there usually isn't one- but you can bet ur *** you will hit one 5 minutes later.
