go for sports package?

the tires i have (goodyear nct5) have been nothing but great on dry. we don't get much rain here in socal so I couldn't tell you... here's hoping it rains soon so I can know myself. I think it's totally worth it. 18s instead of 17s. Upgraded springs/shocks. You get the VLSD too. Although my some did complain the ride was a bit harsher than they would like, it handles very well.

I would go for the sports package for no other reason then it's the lessor of two evils. Neither suspension is blessed with the shock control they should have left the factory with. As we know, the non sport is ment to ride softer, it use's springs that are 10% softer. But the non sport shocks are dialed in a little too soft. During normal driving I found several instances where the shocks let things go on they had NO business allowing to happen (underdampned). I can't paint the sport suspension as a true "sport" driving tool, but that suspension doesn't get as flusted in normal everyday driving. If you go with the non sport, I would install a set of Tokico D-spec shocks and simply adjust them softer to give out that soft ride, but with superior shock control. Not to say a sport suspended sedan would not benefit from the D-specs, cause it would.
