Rear door panels kicked in

I went to a party at a friend's house last night and did the responsible thing and left my car there. I went to pick it up today and the passenger side as a smaller dent (from a fist maybe) and the other side has what looks like a very large boot kicked into the side of it right on the body curve of the door. I do not have pics yet and I was wondering if I should call the cops for an insurance claim or not. Also I was wondering if anybody knew how much it would cost to replace and repaint the doors IP.

i kind of had the same problems maybe 2-3 weeks ago? I called insurance and told them what happened. Met up with them couple days after the incident and they wrote me a 1500$ check after they checked the damages, and surprisingly my insurance didnt go up...

If you cant stand looking at that damage, I recommend calling the insurance up.

Put up some pics man. I am a PDR tech. (Paintless Dent Repair) I will let you know if its a repairable location without the hassle of a weeks downtime at the bodyshop and half the cost. Sorry to hear about this but props and respect for doing the right thing. Hope I can help.

I'm in Starkville, MS for college at the moment and on the holidays I'm in North MS. The only problem is that the dent is so deep that just from it bending in some paint is chipping off. I'll call the insurance company tomorrow and see if that is something that would make it go up, since I'm and 18 year old driving a luxury sports sedan chances are it will go up and I can not afford it if it does.

Unless you have some kind of eyewitness or video evidence (security cameras) in the area good luck catching the person. I would try my best to avoid insurance, considering your age. Plus your parents may have second thoughts about you having such a nice car while away at school.

Police report-yes
Insurance-No

That's a bitch man. I have no sympathy for vandals. This will most likely be an out of pocket expense not worth claiming on insurance.

Yeah they are already thinking about getting it fixed and selling it and buying something else not as nice, which I'm not happy about.
