Down to 2 Colors!!

Alright, so i've decided to re-paint the G after this winter, and in my previous thread i decided to paint blue but i've changed my mind because i'd regret the blue in a few years as i got older loool (sorry eric! haha)

So the 2 colors i've come down to are Silver Grey or Steel Grey (both are bmw colors). The Silver Grey is a bit lighter then the steel one but both look really nice, it's a close call so i thought i'd take it to the forums.

The M3 is Steel Grey and the M5 is Silver Grey, just need some help deciding now!

I'd personally take the steel grey. The silver grey has too much silver and not enough grey. But that's just cause I'm a sucker for grey/charcoal cars

i don't like either....if you're gonna do an entire repaint then pick a more unique color. the one's you've chosen look too much like DG...just my $0.02

i like these two colors, i was going to go with bayside blue before but i need something that i'll still like in a few years once i get older. don't have the extra money to keep changing colors every few years.

I would try to find something more unique like stated above, but if i were to pick one it would be the silver gray most likely.

I voted steel gray, but really, both those are boring colors that don't show off any of the work to keep them clean.

Now if you're only washing your car once per month, I guess they're ok, but if you want to show off a clean car, metallics don't show it off very well, and silver metallics even less so.

Why are you so sure you will not like blue when you get older? I'm 49 and blue has always been my favorite color and still is. It's no surprise my G is blue.

not that i won't like blue, don't get me wrong, blue is my favorite color too! its just that type of blue (bayside blue) i think i would get over it as i got older, the stock blue that the g35 comes with is very nice. if i had a coupe, i prolly would have gone with bayside blue.
