Good night, I'm writing to find out some information on the 2003 G35 sedan and the 2003 Skyline sedan. I live in the Bahamas and both models are in high demand here but its really hard to find parts for them. I own a skyline and I need to change or replace my Mass Air Flow Sensor and i wanted to know if the MAF sensor from the G35 will work in the skyline. I'm asking because my skyline is 2.5 and not the 3.5 as the G35 is. If anyone has any information or can advise me with any that will be very helpful. thanks in advance.
thanks, hopefully I get some time this weekend to do that.

Or call the dealer. I needed a part and called the local Nissan dealer. Gave them the Infiniti PN and they were able to check the cross reference. Part was also on the Z. Turned out $5 cheaper than Infiniti dealer and got it two days earlier.

Looking at my parts software the part numbers for the 2.5 and the 3.0 are the same. Sadly it doesn't include the 3.5. I would definitely ask the dealer though. Even if he doesn't know the Infiniti number he could cross reference with either the 350gt or the 350Z.

it should be the same as g35 infiniti you can also use 350z parts as well
on the maf there should be a maf number or color tag to identify it see if the number or color tag matches yours

Thanks guys, All the parts actually do match up and are the same.

are you sure you need to replace your MAF ? that's unusual. If it's running funny b/c of the MAF the sensors can be cleaned.
I cleaned the sensor on sunday and it was great to have my power back. Didn't take the car past 3k for a while, but it was great to do so between sunday and today. I went out on my lunch hour today to get new tires and on the drive back to the office i got the same problem again. Got home late this evening but I still took the sensor out, cleaned it and I'll see how it runs tomorrow. I cleaned the whole intake chamber up to the filter. I'll replace my filter in the morning. (my brother works at a part store that carries the filters). If the problem continues I'll being changing that sensor.
I cleaned it with the MAF Sensor cleaner. Like I say if this doesn't work I'll be changing the sensor.
Yea it does throw a CEL, last time I pull the code it was P1130 - Swirl Valve. I think I'm just going to change the Sensor and stop trying to take the cheap way out.

I got this exact error code on my 04 skyline sedan. I live in st.kitts. The nissan dealership fixed it though. Do you use your own diagnostic tool? if so which one??Originally Posted by SuperMike242
