I am considering a 05 6MT sedan to replace my 03 auto sedan, and I have a question about the traction control system.

Is traction control available on sedans with the 6 speed transmission, or is the system on the automatics replaced by the limited slip differential? Any idea if the VDC on the 6MTs is different from the automatics?

I assume the 05 is the same as my 04 in regards to the VCD. I leave mine on during normal driving, and it has saved me a couple of times. I turn it off when I know its safe and I want to have a little fun. I don't know if there is a difference between the 6MT and the Autos but when my rear tires slip the engine power gets cut. I've only had the front slide once and it sounded and felt like the brakes were activating when I didn't touch them. It pulled the car immediately where I was pointing the wheel.

2004 and 2005 6MT sedans come with the viscous limited slip diff standard, all G35's, regardless of make or model will have VDC and TCS. Keep in mind that the oem viscous limited slip is more of a fair weather friend then a performance driving companion.

If I read Infiniti's 2005 updates correctly any sedan that get's the sport suspension package, get's the limited slip now. 6MT's have the sport suspension automatically of course.
