When you start the car, the airbag light comes on, stays on for maybe 2-3 seconds and then goes out.

The open recall could be the cause...or it could not be. I dunno what state you are in, but an airbag light won't pass inspection, therefor the dealer is obligated to sell you a car that passes inspection

Oh, you're from MA?? If so, then yes...airbag light on = inspection fail

With my '06...those have been my two major issues.

Both front compression rods changed at 40K Miles, both front wheel bearings at 80K miles.

I have 90K now.

Compared to other cars, the expenses are fairly reasonable especially if you DIY. But there are a handful of first gens over 200k with minimal problems.

So i went to go look at it today. Outside is nice..few scratches nothing major. Engine sounds and looks good. Interior is in good condition ect

Went to go and drive it and it have a really bad vibration on the highway

(for those of you that don't know i am having a bad vibration issue with my 07 right now)

So i am thinking...not this again...in seats and wheel..but constant. So they are going to balance the tires tomorrow and take if for a spin and see if it fixes the issue. the rear 2 tires are brand new..front two are about 95%. Nexon i want to say is the brand

Tired talking them down from the asking price of 15,900 but wouldn't move and won't give me much trade in on my 07...so ill report back when i test drive again to see if issues are fixed

I can't believe they won't move on the price...I bought my '06x from an Acura dealer in February with 64K miles and got them down to $15,300 without a hassle.

Oh, FWIW, check out this one on CL. They're also asking 15,900, but it has much less mileage - http://newjersey.craigslist.org/ctd/2691843754.html
