Driver Side Window issue -- reset not working

I tried these 2 procedures;

http://infinitihelp.com/diy/gcoupe/p..._procedure.htm

http://forums.nicoclub.com/faq-or-di...t-t461334.html

Neither is working.

Background.

The window motor went out so I replaced it per the wiki. The window motor now goes up and down. When I put it up, it auto goes down about 5"s. The only way to keep it closed is to hold the up switch for about 5 seconds.

One interesting observation... I can not keep the window closed even with the door open. It will always drop ~5" unless I hold the switch as previously mentioned.

Any suggestions?

I got the window to stay up with no issues now.

However the motor reset procedure is still failing.

I pulled off the rubbed covering the "button" on the old motor and there is no button under it.

I am having this same issue after replacing the drivers motor. Tried reseting it 10 times and still the same thing. Soon as I close it, it will close then go back down 5 inches or so. Driving me nuts. Anybody have anything on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I had the same issue with my old G20. I ended up taking it to the dealer and having them fix it. Cost me an hours labor but it worked

You would have to take it to the dealer. I had the same problem our cars window run off of some computer in the car, after you replace the motor the computer has to be recalibrated for that motor not just reset. I had replace three motors with in three months. I took it to the dealer and had them recalibrate the window computer no more problems for over two years now.
