I dont have any pics in the car... if I remember, I'll take pic with phone today and post... it fits in the space the same as the OEM - but as you can tell from the pics, there is no added section in the front of the insert - and the hinged piece that folds down is shorter so it fits bigger cups/bottles...

It was a fluke that I found this out... Viet was giving me a ride to work when they were using my car to make the 03-04 KuRookie - I always have a 1 liter bottle of Aquafina with me, and I realized how much better it fit in his cup holder... I was determined to get one and found that you can't just buy the insert so Viet was kind enough to give me an extra that he had.

Hey couldnt you just take a dremel to the stock one and cut off the front part. They would look the same?

it could be done... I doubt they wold "look the same" unless you were exceptionally good with a dremel... I always keep the lid open so the insert is always visible - but if you close the lid when not in use, I guess it doesnt really matter if the insert is a little "raw" looking.

It's not jsut the front that's different though... the hinged part is shorter too - so you'd have to dremel that to a new size (that's the part that would be most visible.

I forgot to take pic yesterday... my Mom is in town - we will be out later today so I'll hopefully remember to take pic.

This is the most I've driven the car in many months... I actually washed it on Friday (something that I havent done in many months either )

I see now. Btw I my dad has a Marano and I believe its the same also. So you can always go to Nissan and see if that part is cheaper.

If anyone needs that style, I'll sell for reasonable price.

If you look at salvage yards, I suggest looking for one from an FX - they fit bigger cups (fit perfectly ionto the space in the G)... I use the FX cup holder which is why I have a spare G one.

Here's an old post with pics

I dont want to turn it into a bidding war - but there are three people that have asked (renegade3e has also asked in PM)- so I kinda have to open it to best offer (no less than $40)... technically clint2298 has first dibs, so at $40 it's his - if someone wants to offer more, I'll consider next offer.

send PM if interested... I'm in So Cal, so to be honest, local will be ideal - but I'll ship if needed.

Here's some crude MacGyvering that actually worked for me. The spring is from a ball point pen. The moving piece can be snapped up beyond the stops to install it.
A super cheap option!

^ kinda nice. I tested that FX cup holder idea at a little FX meet and didn't find one that looks like the one posted.
