anyone have a cup holder insert?

I have an 06 g35x sedan and the little spring popped out and the flap no longer goes up to make a border between the two cup sides...anyone have this spring or maybe the cup holder insert itself? I called the dealer they said 172$ because I have to buy the entire cup holder set with the insert.

I got the same run a round with the dealer, I needed just the hood release lever, had to buy the entire panel, $215.00. Searching the junk yards now.

lol Im missing the same spring, but i rarely use it so it hasn't been a big concern of mine. Your best bet like texas said is junkyard or someone parting out.

If you can't find one anywhere and absolutely need it, give me a VIN # in PM and I can guarantee I can beat the 170$ quotes I have some in stock now, just need to know if it's the right one color and VIN guarantees it

If it only doesn't work because of the spring you could just buy a new spring online perhaps.

I don't know either, but if you can find the dimensions then doing a google search for small springs or something similar should produce some sites.

I have an 03-04 for AT...

If anyone needs that style, I'll sell for reasonable price.

If you look at salvage yards, I suggest looking for one from an FX - they fit bigger cups (fit perfectly ionto the space in the G)... I use the FX cup holder which is why I have a spare G one.

Here's an old post with pics

Problem is, you can't buy them separate (only with the whole console)... I got lucky and Viet (rookie) gave me one... I call it a KupRookie

Damn, I should post this in the "first sedan with" thread...

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
So badazz, way to think outside the box Mike. Do you have any pics of it actually in the car? I'd like to see how much more space it creates. I'm going to hunt down one for an 05-06 FX and see if it will work.
