well dont do it then. It's just an $8,000 car - it was put back together properly so it did't hurt anything and got me what I wanted so who cares.

I woun't put gold wheels on my car so I guess that's not a "real mod" either

if you had ever tackled a job like this and owned a welder I guess you would understand it's not a big deal.

 

^dude, no need to get butt-hurt/defensive not calling you out. just warning the OP. oh, and my wheels are forged mono-blocks, weight savings ARE a real mod. there are a lot of things about my car a lot of people wouldn't do but i'm not on here asking for anyone's opinion, am i?

Warning the OP ? of what ? well I'm not sure what you mean I didn't ask for anyones opinion either, and I'm not butt hurt but you did call me out so I just disagreed with what your professional definition constitutes as a real mod.

 

warning the OP not to waste his time w/this mod. why build your car around a mod? you'd be better building your mods around your car. does the 350z Nismo S-Tune exhaust sound good? yes, but not that d@mn good.

i didn't give you my opinion, i gave the OP my opinion. he asked, i answered him. you took it personal and tried to attack my car. do you think i go in every "gold wheel thread" and respond to all the people who don't like them? no, just shows you got a chip on your shoulder.

 

building my car around a mod ? I modified the car to get what I wanted people do this all day every day you may not have seen it before but its not a big deal when done correctly. Just takes a wedler, patience and some creativity. Anyway I was showing the OP how it can be done and you attacked my non real mod insuinating it was a bad idea so I just disagreed with that.

I don't have a chip I actually like your car I was just illustrating my point with your rims. I dont want gold rims on my car because I like a more stockish appearance, but that doesn't mean I would tell others having gold rims is a waste of time and money.
