Someone is selling an engine in the marketplace section that is compatible with an 03-07 coupe.

Would that fit my G35X which is an AWD?

He isn't sure, and I obviously have no clue. He thinks since I have an AWD transmission the engine won't fit in. Is that true?

So that means I should be good to go? He said the engine is a just a drop in so its should be a 'old POS engine' out and new less used engine in?

I am making it sound easier than what it is, but should I be expecting any other major complications??

it should be just a drop and drive, however you will need to make sure they replace your oil pan to the new engine, as the AWD and 2WD will be different, it will bolt up the same, but you will need to replace it. But the engine should work just fine

Thanks a lot Phil!

I can just use the oil pan from my current engine right? No need to buy a new one?

Any idea how much I should expect in labor costs for this? Would you know a range in labor hours or total cost?
