New Highest Mileage Thread (4Q2011)

Guys,

I'm aware there is an existing "highest mileage G" thread but it has been running a few years and is over 50 pages long. Therefore, I'm starting this new thread for the 4th quarter 2011. Please don't post if you're car hasn't hit 100k miles yet (unless it's a 2009 or newer).

Please state your make/model, current mileage (picture if possible), major maintenance items that have been done, and any other info (e.g. your G burns 1 quart of oil per oil change).

I'll start it off:

2003 Infiniti G35 (Sport Package)
Mileage: 226,582
Maintenance: Auto-transmission replacement at ~180k
Other: If left unchecked, burns almost 1qt of oil every 3500 miles.

2006 Infiniti G35 Sedan
Mileage: 170,000
Maintenance: Only major issue was a crankshaft sensor from ripping it being low.

Other than that runs like new *knock on wood*

Last tune-up with upgraded spark plugs, and walboro fuel pump just 3k miles ago.

Define "tune up." If you are talking plugs every 15k miles, you are wasting a lot of money if you're putting in OE platinum plugs every time.....

You people are ruining this thread. All I want to see ate people with 140k or more and what their matainence services are and what they cost. I have previously said that I have no plan of getting rid of my car, I jus want to see what I should be prepared for

2004 6mt sedan. 104k. Started consuming oil at the rate of 1qt every 500 miles at 100k. Has always been up to date on maintenance.

Still not getting rid of it. Will replace motor when necessary.

Sounds like you might have some oil leaks. Do you ever smell any burning oil? You may just need some seals and valve cover gaskets replaced.
