Questions on changing throttle body

So recently I got the code p2135 and it came down to the TB. So I just ordered one and a gasket. Are there any precautions I should take while changing the TB? Also I have to do a throttle relearn right? And how hard is the relearn process?

Make sure to disconnect the battery before replacent.

TB and Idle relearn are simple in theory, but can be difficult in reality. Its all based on timing.

Procedures can be found in a simple search of the forum here.

Could I take it to Nissan and have them relearn it after I install it?

double check the connections at the ECU, the TB and the pedal.
I had the P2135 code and the car would go into limp mode almost once a day while driving.
I replaced the TB and it didn't help.
but after I cleaned the contacts and tweaked the pins to help make a better connection i haven't had the issue since.
it's been close to a month without issue.

download the service manual and it will walk you through the steps to do all three

Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning
Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning
Idle Air Volume Learning

do not touch the butterfly flap in there !!!! if you do you will have problems

i have taken mine off many times.. i never un did the battery or anything like that.. remove it carefully and simply install it back again..like i said above make sure you do not touch, play, flick or what ever to the valve in there..

after i installed the TB again i started the car and let it run for a little then took off .. never had a problem once doing that

Is it really that sensitive? I cleaned my TB a few weeks back, didn't disconnect the battery or the TB connectors. I pushed the throttle opened, and wedged it open with the soft handles of a pair of pliers, gave it a good cleanup and put everything back together. It idled high, but after doing the above learning procedures the idle returned to normal, and it is all working fine.

i just recently found out today the code my car was throwing was a P2135... this happened the day before THE RUN IX... my car ran fine at the run and on the way back home... it also ran fine today, but i took it to advance auto to use a scanner to see what code it was throwing... so now that i know... im gunna check all connections on my 04 coupe 5at and make sure everything is properly connected and cleaned...im gunna reset my car as well... now if it happens again im gunna order a new TB from Z1...that is if they can offer me a good deal since im reppin there business on my LR G35

does your car go into limp mode while driving?
what are you seeing other than the P2135 code?

i think a true throttle body failure would have different symptoms than what i was seeing.

my car went into limp mode 3x after i parked it at a bank and got back into it 5mins later... it went into limp mode soon as i pulled out of the parking lot, so i shut it off and started it back up and it went into limp mode again 10secs later...then i shut it off and started it back up and it ran fine till i got to a gas station 1mile away...then i just shut it off waited 10mins got something to drink came back let it run for 5mins while drinking my drink and its been fine... im going to clean the TB and reset the ecu... hopefully no more limp mode for me...

cleaning the air passage of the TB won't do anything to help your code.
A true P2135 TB issue is the 2 pots in the TB that tell the ECU the orientation of the butterfly valve.
I highly recommend you check the connections at the ECU and the TB.
I think even the slightest hint of a faulty connection and the ECU picks up on it, goes into limp mode, and throws the P2135 code.
my car has run problem free since I cleaned the connections, tweaked the pins and dielectric greased the sockets.

I just recently changed out my TB because it was throwing out that code and it happened twice. It usually happens when i was playing around with triptonic. Ever since changing out the TB I have no issues with it. When i took off my old one to look at it... it was really DIRTY!!! and the butterfly wasn't even closing vertically it was at an angle.
