I came from an 03 Maxima to the G, best decision I made. I had an Altima in between for a very short while though.

The Alty is nice, I looked at a few SE-R Altimas, love them but I'm happy I chose to navigate towards the RWD, there's just nothing like the back end doing a little shimmy when you pop it into second and pull away, or the smooth sideways right hand turn.

Please don't get the impression I'm a wreckless driver, but we've all done these things I"m sure. The ability to do it exceeds the necessity of course, and in Canada it's nice in the winter time

Nice 5th gen! I just upgraded from a 4th gen max to an autoTRAGIC 2005 IP Sedan. Its funny because you went from a white max to a black G, I went the opposite direction color-wise.

Actually I still have the max...but its for sale! Haha. Are you on the .org at all?

Maxima to a G is a natural progression. I always had my eyes on the G35 when I owned my 98 Maxima SE. Now that I have the G, I kinda miss my Maxima.

You started off modding pretty quick. I've owned my car for almost two years and have barely touched it. Keep up the good work.

Tunermaxima3000 on the org, should be easy to find

Yeah I was worried I would miss the Maxipad, but nope, after the first night out with the G, I had no problem parking the Maxima. Even with it modded it just doesnt compare.

It does make me want to mod the G faster though, because there are a few things bothering me... Im actually thinking of doing something Ive always wanted to, RGB LEDs throughout the car all hooked up to a controller, giving me about 20-30 colour scheme choices at the switch of a button. This would help me not being able to decide on a colour scheme LOL.

I think I may tinker with that this winter piece by piece.... need to get some parts on the way.

I really need to fix the clock light. I never got around to that with the last car.

^very easy to do if you're just swapping new bulb in. However, if you're not going to LED, you'll need to buy the bulb from the dealer, as they have a tinted cover on them that's unique to the Infiniti. I'm sure you know this already just FYI

I ordered a couple plug and play ones from SUPERBRIGHTLEDS.COM, but I think I'm actually going to pursue the RGB thing.... at least, I'll start it and seew where it goes.

I might as well go with LED's while Im at it. I like the look of white and orange you have going on right now.

I'm kind of upset it seems the orange face on the gauges is actually tinted on? That's really, really bad news for my colour changing theme idea.....I might be stuck with orange
