hey AJY, three weeks ago the steering was still stiff... But I had to drive the car to AZ from TX and I guess over the 850 mile journey, the issue went away. I'm assuming I still had bubbles in the system, it's been working flawlessly for two weeks now How YOU doin? ;] ;D

Well I changed belts popped a pulley that ate both belts and replaced them. This made the situation horrible but it's finally settled down so it probably was just air. Such a pain in the *** because I bleed and bleed and bleed this thing. But glad to hear the problems settled for you too

Same. This issue was a headache and a half, especially with it being intermittent. Weird how air just seems to have come in from nowhere.

just reporting in since it's been a few months; my issue went away and never came back. The steering is effortless and smooth again, and the wheel returns to center automatically. I assume it was something with the power steering fluid, since no changes have been made to the belts or the pumps - perhaps I finally got the last of the bubbles out.

AJY, how you doin?
