Be Careful!

Hey guys, i just wanted to share a story to remind you guys to be careful out there. It's a little bit of a novel lol so bare with me.

The other day it was raining pretty hard and i was driving on a 1 way road with incoming traffic on the other side with no blocks in the middle or anything. I was driving and ahead of me i saw 2 cars stopped that were turning left but for some reason i kept on driving, i didn't slow down.. I guess i was over tired, zoned out, thinking about something else but who knows, all i know that it wasn't good and just as we approached the 2 stopped cars, i slammed on the breaks, my g swerved a bit and i managed to keep it in control and veer off the road into the dirt and rocks on the side of the road. The major accident that could have happened was avoided and me and my buddy in the car were okay as well. If i had reacted a second later we would have been in the back of an ambulance instead of in a university class room. not to mention other people would have been hurt in the collision as well.

I just wanted to remind everyone to be safe out there! if your too tired or your under a lota stress, stay away from the wheel. I'm glad that everything was okay in my situation but it was def a big scare.

stay safe out there! and happy holidays everyone!

Good lesson, it's not just alcohol or drugs that can impair your driving.

Good call man...unfortunately, the last 2 accidents that I have been in were a result of me falling aslepp/dozing off at the wheel...prior to going Full-time Army, I was working for a company welding tubes for economizers and nuclear power plants...7X12 for a total of 84+ hours a week made for great money, but after a few months of an extremely manual labor job and not getting to sleep past 0500 really catches up with ya...I've wisened up a bit and when I feel as though I'm getting too tired, or my eyes are getting heavy, I'll pull over and stretch the legs!
