Guys, I've been wondering... when you order the aero package with the g35, do you get the aero kit?

Like, do you get the aero dynamic bumper, side sills and everything?

cause in canada ppl with the aero package dont' have the side sills, etc...

just wondering


how is it in teh states? can you get the kit from the dealer?
i dont think it's possible to get the kit in canada from the dealer...

I'm not sure how it works in Canada. Here's how it is in the States:

There are two separate packages: Aero Package and Aerodynamic Body Kit.

Aero Package ($550): Consists of rear spoiler and underbody diffusers. This is the package that gets you the 0.26 Cd and zero rear lift.

Aerodynamic Body Kit ($2910 5-pc, $2420 4-pc): Consists of a different front bumper and side and rear sills that match the body color. The 5-pc version also has the rear spoiler and stands along. The 4-pc version is only available in combination with the Aero Package above (which already includes the rear spoiler).

If you already have the 5-pc body kit, I think you can purchase the underbody diffusers from the parts dept. and they bolt on underneath the car. I've also heard that you can purches the various body kit pieces separately, as well.

Now I get it too; I thought I didn't had the bumper and 3 pc sills due to conflicts with the sports tuned package that made me end up with only the spoiler. I've ended up with a combination of package. What a relief. Where can I see more detailed information on underbody diffusers, 0.26 Cd, and zero lift? Thanks

This is what the dealer told me, when I bought it, so I know whats going on with this..

When you get the aero kit, it includes the aero package...

They said, you can't get the aero kit without the aero package.

You can get the aero package seperate..but not the aero kit

 

...So that's why I didn't pay extra $2360. lol. thanks

Your dealer was misinformed, or just trying to sell you something from stock inventory. My salesman didn't understand the difference between the packages either, and I had to put it in terms of "I want the $550 aero package, not the $2k+ package" for him to get it right, as my attempt to explain the difference fell on deaf ears.

You can get the 5-pc body kit w/o the aero package. Or you can get the 4-pc aero kit w/ the aero package.

The 5-pc kit is $2910, and the 4-pc is $2420 + $550 for the Aero = $2970. Check your window sticker. If it doesn't have a line item that says "Aero Package" then you don't have the underbody diffusers.

Go to infiniti.com and hit the Build & Locate link for the sedans.. you can click on the packages to get a description of what's in them.

808HerbzG35: If you have a spoiler and the black border around the bottom of the car, then you have the Aero Package -- rear spoiler and underbody diffusers, and you have the zero rear lift and 0.26 Cd instead of the stock 0.27 Cd.

The only information I've found on this is on Infiniti's website.. and it's just a footnote saying "zero rear lift and 0.26Cd available only with Aero Package."

Plus there's the commercial with the girl's hand out the window... "you can fight the wind, or you can make it your friend."

That's all the extra info I can come up with, sorry.

i was just stuck on how everyone in canada has the aero package, which includes the rear spoiler + 5 spoke wheels,

but not the side sills + front aero dynamic bumper

i'm a big fan of the side sills + aero bumper,
but they just COST SO MUCH!@!!!@!

I think the only things that are not compatible with the body kit are the splash guards.
