Thumbs up Urgent Help Needed Fuel Leak

Hi, need some urgent help from all you g35 owners out there!

I own a 2004 nissan skyline 350gt

I have been experiencing a strong fuel smell shortly after turning off the engine.

The smell is coming from the rear of the engine next to the firewall on the right side of the car.

I jacked the car up today and had a look, there a small drip coming from some gold colored pipes between the engine and the firewall on the right side.
It seems to be coming from a circular gold colored valve thing which has a few other gold colored fuel pipes running to it.

I think its called the fuel pressure regulator.

As im in the UK parts are really hard to get,

Does anyone have any experience of this fuel leak? and does anyone have any useful advise on how to stop it"!

THANKS HAPPY NEW YE@R!

Do you have a Nissan or Infiniti dealership near you? That seems dangerous,,,,I'd bring it to them ASAP if you cannot easily gain access to the part to replace it..

I don't think the UK has infiniti dealerships, just nissan

Don't run the car with the fuel lines leaking, my old boss' car went up in flames because of that

Check the classifieds section, last time I checked there was a user selling his OEM fuel lines for $15+ shipping

there's an o-ring between the gold pipe and the fuel rail... remove 2 bolts, replace o-ring.

It happened to my car when RRYDE did a wire tuck... it's not hard to replace, but you might have trouble sourcing the right size o-ring... I suggest removing it and taking to your local hardware store to find a match (I was lucky and near a specialty place that only sells o-rings/gaskets, etc)... Nissan/Infiniti dealer might have it - but it's not a common replacement part so it's doubtful they have it in stock.

Don't waste money at the dealer (if you can avoid it) - it's a couple bucks (tops) and a little time worth of work - but dealer will rape you.

Good luck - let us know how it goes.

i removed the pipes today, there are 2 o-rings

they look fine but i will be replacing anyway, however they are a weird size, 15.5mm or 16mm

I think the leak is coming from under these pipes from a circular gold valve looking thing

Has anyone had a leak from this area (rear of the engine bay opposite side from the intake pipe)

Also it doesnt seem right, my car has only done 35k miles.

any updates OP?...

Apparently it's not leaking from where I thought... I'm not 100% sure what area you are referring to (since it's not the gold fuel line that attaches to the fuel rail)...

Hopefully you got it fixed.
