06 G35x Base Radio Replacement Options?

Hi all-

I have a G35x Base radio. I'm looking to replace it with better speakers and new a receiver. What are my receiver options with Aux and Satellite (Sirius XM) ? THanks.

Jumping aboard as I'm considering the same thing. Will only consider something that syncs with steering wheel controls and can be made to fit into aluminum covering (willing to get new piece there).

You guys are really in the wrong forum here, jump to the a/v forum and read some of the stuff there. I completely un-biasedly recommend starting here: https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...urce-list.html

Options for aux and satellite radio are limited only by whatever receiver you choose. Since this car has a double-din slot, you can fit pretty much any radio ever made in these cars, so you're limited to only your budget. Likewise for the speakers - the factory speakers are 6.5" - the biggest "normal" size speaker made, so any speaker that size or smaller (with a proper spacer, of course) will fit.

Everything except for ultra-budget chinese $30 radios have the option to connect to a wired remote (steering wheel controls) with a $40 adapter, and the hole in the JDM aluminum trim (one of two options for the 05-07's) has a hole big enough to fit virtually every radio out there with little or no modification.

Thanks. Will proceed to tha AV forum. Seems positive that this is pretty standard and limited to my budget.
