Dynomax VT muffler from Berk tech on a Sedan

Pretty cool. Like the stock nissan muffler, it uses a flapper that opens when the exhaust gas flow is enough. Quiet when flow is low and wide open when you need it.

Interesting thoughts though:

1) The use a 3" version.
2) They mount it where the resonator usuall resides. Nissan mounts their bypass mufflers on the end of the exhaust. Odd to me
3) Drone is completely eliminated. And that's on a 3" exhaust system.

This is here because it's specifically addresses a sedan.

Always nice to have other options and this looks like it has a lot of potential for old farts like me and Wayne.

Wouldn't trade my MD exhaust for it though............

The american muscle car guys like Dynomax mufflers a lot. Only concern I'd have would be with the spring wearing out/breaking that controls the flap. But it seems to hold up fine in the Nissan OEM mufflers, so maybe it will hold up.

I have heard of people having drone with the VT mufflers also. They are not necessarily completely drone free, although they may be in this case.
