Has anyone put 235s on a 7 inch rim?
Does anyone here have a 235mm tire mounted on a stock sedan 17"x7" 6 spoke rim? I would appreciate pics if you've got them. My rims were stolen recently and I'm thinking about keeping the stock rims but getting wider tires to somewhat match what I had. Ideally I'd like to put 235/45 17 BFGs on the car. I had 255/40 18s. I know that most tire manfrs recommend you don't put more than a 225 on a 7 inch rim but I know a few people have. I just want to see pictures and hear about your experience with it.

My intention was to provide with information on a subject that has been covered over and over and over and over and over and over again. Yes you can run a 235 width on the factory 17x7, just choose your sidewall correctly. As for pics a simple Google image search will provide results also. You're just too lazy to search, so you ask about a subject that has been covered over and over and over and over and over again. Forgive me for lending out a helping hand to you, what's next? You going to ask which intake works best? I can help win that too, I could get you a search result of the 100,000 times that question has been asked.
I'm clearly well aware of whether or not it's physically possible to fit a 235 tire on a 7 inch rim. I was looking for anecdotal evidence one way or the other and PICTURES to go with it. "I just want to see pictures and hear about your experience with it."
The one helpful statement you've provided is about choosing my sidewall correctly. If you could expand on that I'd greatly appreciate it.
