I'm really enjoying my 05 6mt right now but my favorite has to be my first - 1973 Camaro. Performance was not earth shaking but the 350 always ran strong and got the thumbs up from everyone. I got it when I was 18 and drove it all over the state of TX during my college days. I have the best memories in that car. I liked driving it so much, I didn't even consider getting another vehicle many years after college. I parked the Camaro and then got a '94 S-10 used for a pretty good deal. It was very handy for my lifestyle back then but it was boring to drive and it liked to fall apart. I wanted to get rid of it long time ago but couldn't because of financial reasons.

First car:
(1994-1996)
1971 Datsun 240z **RIP** - Pumpkin Orange, stock everything (including exhaust leak)
This was my high School grad gift from my dad, the original owner. I loved this car!!! It was a blast to drive. But with no AC, black leather seats and the exhaust leak, my GF at the time HATED the car. Got totalled by an underage, un-licensed, un-insured dumbass that ran a red light. I'm still tempted to get another somewhere down the line.
(1996-1999)
1983 Volvo 240 2dr Turbo - Brick Shaped, Heavy like a brick, Brick colored (burgandy really). Damn thing could barely top out the speedo (which was 85 mph) Spent $600-$1000 every 3-6 months to fix sh*t. I will never buy a used European Car again.
(1999-May 2005)
1998 Hond Civic HX (manual) - My first new(ish) car. Loved my HX. Low maintainance, reliable, not fast but quick enough, 35-40 mpg, I love my G, but my civic was the easiest car I've owned. from 12,000 miles to the last 150,000 I never had a problem. If I could buy another identical 98 HX, I would, and might.
(May 2005-present)

I've only had a few so here goes!

88 Civic DX, 5 speed - I bought this car from my dad, my first car. When he "sold" it to me it had 118k on it and had only had routine maintanance to that point. No issues. I drove it for 4 years and put another 165k on it. We hd to replace the clutch at 120k (I learned standard in it!). Other than that no problems. Made it to just under 300k before we sold it for parts.

1998 GTI. Loved this car, so fun to drive... got it in 99 and drove it till '02 with no major problems (belt slipped a few times)

2002 Jetta GLS 1.8T. Uhg. Drove this car under 9k miles in 2 years. It had more problems than I can even count. We got it declared a lemon 16 months after we bought it and were given a 2003 GTI 1.8T which had as many or more problems. In 2003 we decided we needed a second car so we bought a:

2003 Acura RSX-S. Man I loved that car so much. Probably the most "fun" car I've ever owned. Handled like it was on rails, tons of punch but no torque. Just a good fun driving car, got good mileage and never had any issues. I miss it sometimes.

That's when we dumped the GTI and I went out and bought an 03 G35 6MT coupe. My wife "inherited" the RSX and I got the coupe. What can I say? If it's possible I liked it even more than the RSX. Fun, fast, tons of torque, comfortable (way more than the RSX), reliable...

2005 we moved to Canada from California and sold both cars. I moved here and intended to buy a cheap-y commuter car. Corolla, Civic, 4 banger Accord, you know... I ended up getting a G35 sedan. I'd have gotten a coupe again but I wanted real back seats and 4 doors. I didn't find anything else I liked better (drove 330i, TL, TSX, Accord V6, Mazda 3 and 6, Camry V6 and a few others). I actually like the sedan better than the coupe now (I know I'm one of the only ones). I don't feel any difference in speed or torque, it's more comfortable and has a ton more usable room, and a trunk... Oh, and I love the exterior styling. Probably my favorite car so far, but I think that has a lot to do with age. Had I been driving this 5 years ago I probably would have liked the Type-S better. But I'm married now so ya.. love the G sedan.

OK, let me see if I can remember that far back.

1973 Nova (350 4MT, this was fun...)
1976 Blazer (big and slow, unless you had it in low lock)
1977 Dodge Aspen (340 AT. spent so much money on this I could have purchased two new cars. By the time I got done with it I used to race and beat 455 T/A's all day)

*** Got married ***

Crashed to Dodge racing to my friends wedding, was totalled... boy was I stupid.

1983 Nissan Sentra (yawn, had no $$$ )
1991 Dodge Shadow (Sort of sporty, but still a no power 4 banger)
1995 Dodge Intrepid (New baby and first new car)
1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Finally a V8, but it was a truck, still not my thing)
2003 Honda Accord (V6, faster than most, but was FWD and I wanted to get back to my roots)
2005 G35 (6MT, ahhh back to basics but with the ability to take the corner without feeling like I will roll over)

Only Nissan

1986 300zx 5 speed
1997 Maxima GLE auto
2002 Altima 2.5 s 5 speed
2005 G35s 6 speed - This is my favorite car to drive, because 300hp and RWD = excitment.

I miss the altima due to clothe interior, fuel economy and not having to worry about where I parked it.

1994 Isuzu Amigo, rag top was great for the beach!

1994 Honda Passport 4WD - LOVED IT! i hate the new rounded body style, these actually had metal bumpers/fenders, i had off road tires, bush guard, aux lights, stereo system, etc. Drove that thing everywhere for 9 yrs, had over 160k mi when i gave it to my younger brother to have fun with it while he finishes college. almost NO problems, never rattled, solid as a rock.

2004 Explorer - ok, so i like SUVs. much better than older body style, very solid and smooth. great truck, especially for road trips, quick for its size.

2004 G35 Coupe - after 3 yrs of looking i finally stepped down (literally) from the SUVs to a sports car and love it. can't really compare, so much fun to drive yet in a totally diff way. i cant wait until i can pick up a nice SUV for my main driver and keep a coupe for fun

Both in fact. The stable is 3 cars and 2 bikes. Starting a family soon and unfortunately need to part with them. Sad really. Owned the 88T for 11.5 years and have always wanted the Twin Turbo finally realizing that dream last September. But it is hard to split one persons time among all those vehicles.

If you interested PM me and I can give more details.

1. 1984 Toyota Cressida (passed down to me in Oct. 1992) - first car, RWD, rock solid, over 220K miles when I sold it

2. 1990 Nissan Maxima SE Auto (bought in Aug. 1995) - loved this car, but it had a lot of problems (exhuast leak, fuel injection system replaced, all window regulators replaced)

3. 1999 Toyota Solara SLE V6 (bought in Nov. 1998) - great car, solid interior materials, smooth, FWD

4. 2005 G35 AT (Sport/Premium/Navigation) - bought in Feb. 2005

G35 is definitely my favorite. I long for the interior build quality of Toyota, but the power, handling, styling and features make up for the rattles and cheap plastic in the interior.

I'm 32.

1985 T-Bird Turbo Coupe 5 Speed. AKA Thunderchicken. Owned from 1990 to 1998. Not a bad car for a first car. It was quick enough to have some fun, but not too fast to get into too much trouble. Handled a bit like a boat. Had that car for a long time.

1999 Mustang V6, 5MT. Owned from 1999 to 2004. First new car and wasn't too bad, but nothing special.

2004 G35, 5AT. Obviously the best car hands down.

1948 Chevy Stylemaster Businessman's Coupe. Project car that I bought last winter because I got a deal I couldn't resist. It's actually not in too bad of condition except its in pieces from the original owner. Haven't had the time to do anything yet except dream.
