So far this is the progress I've made to upgrade from 04 to 07 front calipers/rotors. Bought calipers on here and got a great deal. They arrived today, so I was pumped to start the installation. Rushed to the Infiniti dealer to overpay on brake pads so I could install them tonight. I take off the 04 rotor from my car to install the new rotors I bought from THMotorsports to find out they are rear rotors.

Now I have to wait to get the front rotors. Hopefully it will be a easy exchange.

When I received the rotors a week ago I knew they looked like like rears. I noticed the hub was too deep and it did end up hitting the dust shield. Should have checked the part number before I jacked up my car and cancelled plans to go to the bar.

Just noticed one of the four caliper guides isn't on a caliper. Wonder if I can still use the caliper that way?

Please post how this mod made your car feel (pedal feel and stuff). Sounds like an inexpensive BBK mod.

similar thing happened to me...ready to install newly purchased and delivered brake pads only to find out they were the wrong size. The exchange went ok, but it was still a hassle.

26lb per rotor isn't my idea of a good time. IMHO

Just spoke to THMotorsports Adam and in the exchange process.

Did 2007 Sport Coupes have a Akebono BBK?

The 2007 dual piston calipers I bought have bigger mounting brackets than my 2004, so I don't think i can reuse them. They bolt of the the hub fin though.

At least you didn't buy winter wheels, have the winter tires mounted, only to find out two of the rims are bent

It sucks when they send you the wrong part, but it's even worse when you realize it was your own stupidity because you ordered the wrong part(s)! One thing I've learned about working on cars, is sh*t like this happens all the time. Sometimes it's the wrong part, every now and then it's a faulty part, and then there's the wait...

I've purchased some very expensive rotors, waited 2 months to get them, only to find that they didn't fit my year and model. The biggest problem I've had ordering parts is that most online shops do not know the difference between the different years and models.
